PGA Moneymakers: $1.35 Million Goes To Stenson, $630,000 To Funk
The two PGA winners crowned today have a bit extra money for celebrating tonight. Swedish golfer Henrik Stenson is taking $1.35 million to the bank for his win at the Accenture Match Play, while 50-year old Fred Funk will pocket a cool $630,000 for his upset at the Mayakoba classic.

The Accenture win is Stenson’s first World Golf Championship title as well as his first qualifying PGA victory. Still, the guy has won two title’s month — the other in Dubai — which officially qualify’s him as one rich dude.

Fred Funk’s Mexico purse was half Stenson’s, but the tour vet isn’t exactly complaining. Funk’s victory at the first ever PGA Mexico event pushed him into 11th place for all-time winnings. His take so far: $20,146,189.
