Geoff Ogilvy: “Tiger Is The Angriest Player On Tour”

Defending U.S. Open champion and match-play runner up Geoff Ogilvy has sounded off on golf in general, and on a few fellow PGA members. Ogilvy — who seems engulfed in drama at every event — is a pretty straight shooter. Whether or not that get’s him in trouble is anyone’s guess. A few of Ogilvy’s comments:
On Tiger Woods: “I mean, Tiger is the angriest player on tour. He’s also the best at controlling it.”
On Sergio Garcia: “When he starts making putts again — which he is going to do — he’s going to win 10 times in a year. He is the best ball-striker in the world, probably. … But he is so analytical about his putting and not about anything else. … He’s like Seve, only in reverse.”
On the golf swing: “Instinctively, all you need to know is where your ball is and where you want it to end up. And to stay out of your own way until that happens.”

I think Ogilvy pretty much nailed it on all three counts. I definitely agree that at some point Garcia will be a force to be reckonned with.
