Michelle Wie Grouped With Hater Morgan Pressel

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

michellewiemorganpressel
As if there wasn’t enough stress piled on Michelle Wie, now she’s grouped with her chief rival Morgan Pressel in the first-round of the Evian Masters this week. Pressel has publicly asked why Wie gets so many sponsor exemptions, and also criticized Michelle on her decision to skip junior golf and go straight to the pro circuit.

Oh yeah, Wie just accepted another sponsor’s exemption for next month’s Safeway Classic. Ha.

Sen. Fred Thompson wrote a letter to than President Bill Clinton thanking him for a cigar. Here ya go:

Optimisim Allowed Padraig Harrington The Trophy

Tuesday, July 24th, 2007

Today’s NY Post offers an interesting little insight into how Padraig Harrington ended up with the Claret Jug sitting on his mantel:

“While he was on the (practice) putting green (Sunday) he said, ‘Every time you see my hand like this it means I’m raising the Claret Jug,’ ” Bob Rotella, Harrington’s sports psychology coach, said holding his hand out like he was carrying a vase. “That’s not something I’ve ever seen him do before. He was so positive all week. He understands his mind, body and game better than anyone I’ve ever worked with.”

After 36 failed atttempts to win a major Harrington deserves this. Stoked for the guy.
