Hi everyone and happy Big Prize Friday!
All this week we’ve been asking you trivia questions related to golf in Hawaii while we announce our new GolfNow network courses in the islands there. Yesterday’s question was on the oldest golf tournament in Hawaii and 76% of the entries we received had the correct answer so we’ll find out on today’s show if your answer was correct and if you earned another entry into our daily drawings.
Congratulations to our winner from yesterday’s show who was David Ellison of Deltona, Florida. David won a free round of golf from GolfNow.com and since we were talking about colored golf balls yesterday, he also won a dozen orange Wilson golf balls.
Okay, that’s it for today. Have a great weekend! - Keri
Tiger Woods has praised the management of Presidents Cup team leader Jack Nicklaus:
“I think that’s one of the great things Jack does. . . he gets out of the way. When he does speak, though, everyone listens because, obviously, he is the greatest player of all time. You always want to hear what he’s going to say. But he doesn’t speak very often, which makes it very interesting.”
And when he does speak, it’s a bit amusing. A funny story of Captain Jack tearing into Charles Howell III, as told by Charles Howell III:
“So he went around and said, ‘Zach, great job winning the Masters, green jacket, that’s fantastic, that’s awesome, David, another solid season, you are another steady, steady player. Hunter, you’ve really come along here lately, this is fantastic. Charles, you need a lesson.”
Hi everyone!
First, let me congratulate our winner from yesterday’s show who was Brad Smaha of Gurnee, Illinois and Brad won a Bag Boy three-wheel push cart.
Our trivia theme this week is on golf in Hawaii to go along with the new GolfNow network courses in Hawaii we’re showing you each day. Our question yesterday was on the color of golf ball used to win the 1982 Hawaiian Open and 91% of the entries we received had the correct answer. So, we’ll find out on today’s show what color it was and if you earned another entry into our daily drawings.
Okay, that’s it for today. Have a great Thursday and I’ll see you tomorrow for Big Prize Friday! - Keri

Jack Nicklaus is back on the grass, giving us what we want to see. The Captain’s wife explains: “I don’t think he misses playing. I know he misses the competition.” And this ain’t 2005 boys and girls. Read it.
