Scotland To Trump: Rejected!
Aberdeen officials rejected Donald Trump’s plan to build a super golf resort on a stretch of sand dunes and coastline. Trump says he might appeal the decision, or move the project somewhere else in Europe. Trump has issued a statement:
“We are surprised by the decision. It would have been a great development. We are considering an appeal and also considering doing something very spectacular in another location. Sadly, it will not be Scotland.
Just a week ago Donald seemed confident the deal would be approved. He offered the first club membership to Sean Connery.
The resort would contain two golf courses, a 450 room five-star hotel, a golf academy, almost 1,000 vacation homes and 500 private houses on 1,400 acres.
