Tiger’s Roids
Tiger Woods is catching up on some reading time with his review of the PGA’s anti-doping manual for 2008. The 2007 PGA Player of the Year says drug testing will begin in early Julysaid Wednesday that drug testing on the PGA Tour will start July 8, and he is about halfway through the tour’s anti-doping manual sent to players earlier this month:
“It’s unbelievable how thick this thing is. It’s a lot to get through. I haven’t gotten to the drug list yet.”
But you have to give it to Tiger for at least giving it a shot. The same can’t be said for a few other players. Zach Johnson mailed his to his trainer. Jim Furyk tried to tackle it on his Blackberry, but didn’t get very far:
“It was like 41 pages. I got to page 2 on the Blackberry and realized there were 39 more pages to go. Forty-one pages of that? I don’t think I can do it. I may read if it I feel it’s necessary. For me, the idea is to make sure we go to the workshops and have all the people in place to help us out.”
Well, at least that means they are probably clean. But we can always send George Mitchell to find out.
And in other Tiger news:
Hot blond punks him at press conference.
Jack Nicklaus: “I would think that if Tiger stays healthy, he will break it

I wonder how the drug testing is going to do to golfing? Hopefully for the better!
