Blair O’Neal was set to star in the Lingerie Bowl this week in Scottsdale. Until it was canceled! Blair has been training hard. Back in September she posted this on her MySpace blog:

I’m so excited because it is something totally different than anything I have ever done before and should be a really fun experience! Full Contact Sport!! Practices start in a couple weeks!!… What could be more fun than beautiful, athletic women kicking butt!! ;) Keep an eye out for all the exciting events coming up around the valley!!xoxo Hearts & Chocolate Covered Stawberries ,Blai

According to TMZ, the event couldn’t get the proper permits in time. But according to Dirty Scottsdale, the organizers were having a hard time attracting big names and selling tickets.Oh well, life goes on.

Hi, everyone and happy Big Prize Thursday!

Okay, our blooper yesterday generated a little more of a response than I expected. I was kidding with my crew about wanting to go to Hawaii and that we could shoot a calender there. Thanks for all the comments and, while I doubt we’ll be going anytime soon, I’ll let you know if we do!

I’m really happy that we heard from our last two winners on the show - Ed Aultman of Denham Springs, Louisiana and Pat Martin of Phoenix. Just in case you didn’t know, this year our winners have to contact us within 30 days to claim their prizes and both Ed and Pat got in touch with us on the day they won. Ed was our winner on Tuesday and won a PING folding travel cover and Pat was our winner on yesterday’s show and he won a ZAGAT golf box set along with a dozen personalized Titleist Pro-V1’s. Congratulations, guys!

Our question yesterday was on a golf course that is located inside a prison and 80% of the entries chose the correct answer so be sure to watch today’s show to find out what prison it is and find out if you earned another entry into our daily drawings.

Okay, that’s it for today. Have a great Thursday! - Keri

Obama Gets The Tiger Recommendation

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

If Tiger Woods had an opinion on the state of Britney Spears, I’m sure we’d all listen. But Brit Brit aside, Tiger does have insight on the presidential primaries. When a journalist in Dubai asked Tiger his thoughts on Sen. Barak Obama, the champ had this to say:

“I’ve seen him speak. He’s extremely articulate, very thoughtful.

“I’m just impressed at how well, basically all politicians really do, how well they think on their feet. Especially those debates. It’s pretty phenomenal to see them get their point across.

“But I just think that he’s really inspired a bunch of people in our country and we’ll see what happens down the road.”

Tiger the politico! What a shrewd way of avoiding a direct endorsement. And a gaggle of annoying non-golf questions.

Hi, everyone and happy Wednesday!

Luckily I sound a little better today than I did yesterday and thanks for all your well-wishes.

Our question yesterday was on the first pro golfer to earn one million dollars in a single season and we had an interesting split in the answers. 34% of the entries chose Arnold Palmer while 60% picked Curtis Strange. Now, one of those answers is definitely correct so be sure to watch today’s show to find out who was the correct answer and find out if you earned another entry into our daily drawings.

Our prize on yesterday’s show was a PING folding travel cover and our winner was Ed Aultman of Denham Springs, Louisiana. Congratulations, Ed, and to claim your prize be sure to send an e-mail to me at Keri@golfnow.com within the next 30 days.

Don’t Mess With Hasselhoff’s Golf Cart

Tuesday, January 29th, 2008

The Hoff isn’t happy

David Hasselhoff is in the midst of nasty divorce court hearings with his ex-wife Pamela Bach.

According to TMZ, Hoff’s wife and the mother of his two teenagers wants more than $31,000 per month for child support and more than $45,000 per month for spousal support. That’s $540,000 per year in just spousal support! And it doesn’t end there.

Hoff wants his golf cart. Pamela says no. NO!

TMZ says Bach is in possession of Hoff’s golf cart and won’t give it back. Not even if the Hoff says please. But Hasselhoff is standing his ground. He filed an ‘emergency over property’ court meeting. And Bach feels tricked! She was at home sick when the Hoff’s lawyers asked her to come to court for the cart.

Jeez.
