St. Andrews’ golfers are making it known to the course’s Trustees that the 2008 price increase for playing the Old Course is too much. Problems began after the cost of a season ticket for playing a round of golf at St Andrews rose by £30. The yearly pass for the Links courses are going up to £165 while previous annual increases have averaged £5.

“Many people are very angry at this decision. What justification can they have for such an increase?�
