Callaway Sees No Slowdown In Golf Spending

While dozens of the nation’s largest retailers are warning of a decline in consumer spending, Callaway Golf is raising their sales figures.
Golfers always golf! An analyst with research firm Morgan Joseph & Co. says basically that:
“Historically, golf retailers have done well. Even when economy hasn’t been good, people have continued to golf. The question is are people going to continue to spend on $300, $400, $500 drivers?”
Callaway’s square headed drivers are cited as one of the main reasons for the jump in sales. And guess what: the company is going to introduce two more drivers!
