The Greatest Golfer in the World is Unstoppable!

Tiger Woods reportedly said that he plans to win every tournament he plays this year. Well, he just might. People are saying that Tiger is on top of his game. He just won his sixth straight tournament title by defeating Stewart Cink in the final of the World Golf Match Play event. Cink claimed that Tiger is playing the best golf of his career after Tiger struck 14 birdies in 29 holes to win.

This tournament also allowed Woods to pass Arnold Palmer’s record on the U.S. PGA Tour’s all-time wins list by defeating Cink.

So what records does Tiger have left to break?

Well, he is on pace to possibly beat Byron Nelson’s record, one of the only achievements Tiger does not hold. Nelson maintains the record for the longest personal streak win on Tour after he won 11 straight tournaments and 18 overall in 1945. It is certainly probable that Woods could tie Nelson as early as June if he keeps winning like he has been and goes on to win this year’s U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.
