The Donald made plans a while ago to build Europe’s largest golf and housing resort in Northern Scotland. But he developed a snag when Michael Forbes, whom owns the 23 acres of land that sits directly between Trump’s two proposed 18-hole golf courses and planned five-star hotel basically told Trump that everything does not have a price and that his land was not for sale.

Has Trump ever been told no before?

Forbes said he is very happy with living on his peaceful land just the way it is. His 82-year-old mother also lives there in a trailer that she calls “paradise.” She even has the sign to prove it.

Trump said Forbes is just holding out for more money. But, each party did have something to say about the other:

Forbes on Trump: “He’s a greedy man, that’s all he is.”

Trump on Forbes: “The reality with him is he got very greedy.”

This Scottish standoff got even better when another wealthy businessman told Forbes that he would double whatever offer Trump made, basically just to stop Trump from purchasing the property.
