Hi, everyone and happy Wednesday!

Our question on yesterday’s show asked which country featured a course with a 19th hole where you can win one million dollars and all you have to do is get a hole-in-one on that one extra hole. The two countries that received the most entries were South Africa with 56% of the total vote and Saudi Arabia with 30%. So, be sure to watch today’s show to find out which of those two countries has this golf course and if your answer was correct.

Our prize on yesterday’s show was an OGIO Stand Golf Bag and our winner was Jennifer Barnett from Nashville, Tennessee. Congratulations, Jennifer, and to claim your prize just send an e-mail to me at keri@golfnow.com within the next 30 days and we’ll send you your new OGIO stand bag.

Warning: Do Not Approach The Alligators

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008

Authorities say a man was attacked by an 8-foot alligator at the Tampa Country Club when he was fishing golf balls out of a pond.

Sixty-two-year-old Dwight Monreal was wading in a pond at the Tampa Palms Golf and Country Club last Saturday afternoon when the alligator latched onto his left arm and tried to drag him underwater.

Authorities say he was able to wrestle himself free, but he was left with a dislocated shoulder and several puncture wounds where the animal bit him.

Hi, everyone!

We kicked off the week with a Big Prize Monday show and our prize was a Bob Burns No Bananas 460cc Anti-Slice Driver from our new sponsor, Bob Burns Golf. Our question on yesterday’s show had to do with an amazing round of golf and 78% of the entries we received had the correct answer of who shot that perfect round. So, on today’s show, we’ll tell you who it was and you can see if your answer was correct.

Today’s question is a lot of fun and has to do with a course where you can one million dollars if you ace their 19th hole … but, it’s not quite as easy as it sounds. Have fun with that one and good luck!

Have a great Tuesday! - Keri

Scott & Sorenstam Playoff

Monday, April 28th, 2008

Two playoffs last week keep the excitement of professional golf still rolling even while Tiger is out.

Adam Scott broke his drought yesterday and sank an unbelievable 49-foot putt to beat Ryan Moore and take home the win at the Byron Nelson Championship. As well as Scott has been playing lately, this is his first PGA Tour title in more than a year.

Lorena Ochoa sat out the Stanford International Pro-Am last weekend, making room for someone else to take home 1st place. Annika Sorenstam was that someone. In a sudden death playoff, she edged out Paula Creamer for the win. This is the second victory of 2008 for Sorenstam. However, both times Ochoa wasn’t playing the event.

Hi, everyone and happy Monday!

Our trivia question on last Friday’s show had to do with a golfer who helped out with some vocals on an album by Kid Rock and, while I don’t think that there are a lot of Kid Rock fans in our audience, 90% of the entries we received had the correct answer. So, today we’ll tell you who it was and you can see if your answer was correct and earned you another entry into our daily drawings.

Friday was also Big Prize Friday and our prize was a Bushnell V2 Rangefinder and our winner was Peter Paczesny of Sussex, Wisconsin. Congratulations, Peter, and to claim your prize, be sure to send an e-mail to me at keri@golfnow.com within the next 30 days so you can receive a new Bushnell rangefinder.

Our first question for this week is on what might be the most perfect rounds of golf ever, or one of them, at least, so good luck!

Okay, that’s it. Have a great Monday! - Keri
