Scott & Sorenstam Playoff

Two playoffs last week keep the excitement of professional golf still rolling even while Tiger is out.

Adam Scott broke his drought yesterday and sank an unbelievable 49-foot putt to beat Ryan Moore and take home the win at the Byron Nelson Championship. As well as Scott has been playing lately, this is his first PGA Tour title in more than a year.

Lorena Ochoa sat out the Stanford International Pro-Am last weekend, making room for someone else to take home 1st place. Annika Sorenstam was that someone. In a sudden death playoff, she edged out Paula Creamer for the win. This is the second victory of 2008 for Sorenstam. However, both times Ochoa wasn’t playing the event.
