Monday, May 26th, 2008

Hi everyone and happy Memorial Day!

I don’t know how many of you will even be reading this on this holiday so I’m going to keep it short and sweet. Our question on Friday was on the first winner of the LPGA Corning Classic, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this year, and 78% of the entries we received had the correct answer. So, today, we’ll tell you which country she was from and we’ll find out if your answer earned you another entry into our daily drawings for some great golf prizes.

Our prize on last Friday’s show was a personalized wedge from Upswing Golfand our winner was David Lowry of Dallas, Texas. So, David, if you’re out there, just send an e-mail to me at keri@golfnow.com within the next 30 days and we’ll get your Upswing Golf wedge out to you.

We’ve got our big prize drawing for the week today and our prize today is a NIKE SQ Sumo Squared 5900 driver so be sure to check and see if you’re our winner and, of course, get in touch with us if you’re our winner!

Okay, have a great holiday everyone! - Keri

Hi everyone and happy Friday!

The Senior PGA Championship began yesterday and yesterday’s trivia question had to do with the man who holds the record for the most victories at this tournament - Sam Snead. Specifically, we asked what his score was on the very first hole of his very first Senior PGA Championship appearance and 73% of the entries we received had the correct answer. So, today, we’ll tell you what Snead’s score was and we’ll find out if your answer earned you another entry into our daily drawings for some great golf prizes.

Our winner on yesterday’s Big Prize Thursday show was Bill Chance of Tulsa, Oklahoma and our prize was a Bushnell V2 Tour Rangefinder. Now, all we need to do is to hear from Bill within the next 30 days and the best way to do that is for him to send an e-mail to me at keri@golfnow.com and the prize will be all his.

The LPGA Corning Classic is also going on this weekend and our question today has to do with the first winner of that tournament so, good luck and have a great weekend! - Keri

Hi everyone and happy Big Prize Thursday!

Well, we got another photo from one of our winners yesterday. Stephen Tingley of State College, Pennsylvania sent in a shot of himself on the golf course with the two PING clubs he won back in January. Hopefully, while some of you are playing golf over this Memorial Day weekend, you’ll have a chance to take a shot and send it to us so be sure to pack your camera before you head out to the course!

Okay, yesterday’s question was on a nickname given to a player that went on to win at The Masters and 83% of the entries. we received had the correct answer. So, on today’s show, we’ll tell you who it was and we’ll find out if your answer earned you another entry into our daily drawings.

Our winner on yesterday’s show was James Shaw of Oldsmar, Florida and our prize was a PING Karsten series putter. James knew to get in touch with us and sent an e-mail to me at keri@golfnow.com and , so, we’ll get his PING putter out to him right away.

Today is our big prize drawing for the week and our trivia question has to do with the Senior PGA Championship, which begins today.

Have a great day everyone! - Keri

Hi everyone and happy Wednesday!

Let’s see, two things before we get to the usual stuff. First of all, all of our winners who have actually claimed their prizes - and that’s probably only around 50% of the people whose names we have announced on the show - should have gotten an e-mail from us yesterday asking you to send in photos with your prizes. We tried this last year and out of hundreds of people we only got one picture! Well, thanks to Andy LaCombe of Loveland, Ohio, we’ve already tied that number! Andy was one our winners during Masters Week and he was the first person to send in his photo. So, once we start putting them on our site next week, he’ll be the first winner’s photo up. I really hope more of you will send in shots because we’d really like to see who you are!

The other thing is that, in case you haven’t already seen it, a new blooper reel is up on the site. I think everyone else enjoys those maybe a little more than I do but I guess I have to live with the fact that I’m not perfect!

Okay, now on to business. Yesterday’s question asked you to choose Annika Sorenstam’s first LPGA win in the U.S. and 79% of the entries. we received had the correct answer. So, we’ll tell you which tournament it was on today’s show and find out if your answer earned you another entry into our daily drawings.

Our winner on yesterday’s show was Bruce Craighton of Everta, California and our prize was a Callaway Golf prize package. So, now all we need is to hear from Bruce within the next 30 days with an e-mail to me at keri@golfnow.com and we’ll send that prize package out to him.

Okay, have a great day and send in those photos! - Keri
