Lefty Makes Ace At Scottish Open

philjpg.jpg

World No. 2 player Phil Mickelson was struggling to make the cut at Loch Lomond in the Scottish Open this week. During the second round, however, he struck a 5-iron on the 5th hole at 198 yards down to hole it. He followed his ace with a birdie (just missing a 20 foot-eagle putt) and moved himself into contention as he finished the second round at par 67 (4-under). Nice Job for Lefty!

Mickelson counted this ace as somewhere between 15 and 20 of his pro career and celebrated with a bottle of bubbly.
