World’s Largest Indoor Golf Arena Opens 2010

Love to play golf but don’t love the outdoors? The “World’s Largest Indoor Golf Center” is slated to open 2010 in Amersfoort, Netherlands.

It is not a typical 18-hole course, but rather designed as a golf practice center for short game. It will host a driving range with 34 bays and 15,000 square feet of state-of-the-art golf training facilities complete with synthetic grass, bunkers and water hazards, and 20 ProTee Golf Simulators and 28 hitting bays.

It doesn’t stop there either.

Indoor Golf Arena is open 365 days of the year and offers a top-notch restaurant, comprehensive business facilities including meeting rooms, sky lounges, sky boxes and offices, and kid’s training and wellness center with sauna and spa.

You will also find a bar and lounge area. But don’t worry, it is perfectly legal to be drinking and driving at this facility.

That is so cool, I have never seen anything like that before. It would be great if you could play golf day and night and not have to wrry about the weather. Why can’t we have one of those in New Zealand.

    Cheers
