Tierra Rejada Golf Club is a public golf facility that opened in 1999. Located in Moorpark, California, this club is nestled in the foothills of eastern Ventura County. Nationally renowned architect Robert E. Cupp created this par 72 masterpiece of playability and scenic beauty. Tierra Rejada may be played from four sets of tees, (5,148 yards from the forward tees to more than 7,000 from the back tees), each catering to a golfer’s own ability. In preparation for a great golf experience, players can hone your skills on our grass practice range, pitching green, surrounded by sand bunkers, chipping green and putting green.

We’re giving away a Bag Boy push cart today on GolfNow’s Trivia Contest

Monday, August 25th, 2008

Hi, everyone and happy Monday!

On last Friday’s show, we asked you to choose the tournament in the FedEx Cup playoffs that used to be considered one of golf’s major tournaments. We had an interesting split in the answers with 47% choosing C - the BMW Championship - and then 36% chose D - THE TOUR Championship. So, be sure to watch today’s show to find out what the correct answer is and to see if you earned another entry into our daily drawings.

Our prize on Friday’s drawing was a NIKE IC Putter and our winner was Joseph Tiong of Flint, Michigan. Joseph saw his name announced first thing that morning and got in touch with us so we’ll be getting his NIKE putter out to him right away.

Before I go, we’ve run out of new photos from our winners so I think we’re going to start over from the beginning again. We’d really love to see you with your prize so try and get a photo to us soon!

Okay, that’s it for today. Have a great Monday! - Keri

Tiger’s New “Jesus Shot” Is Making Some Waves

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

EA Sports has resurrected Tiger Woods to the course with his “Jesus Shot.”

Don’t worry – Tiger is not calling himself Jesus. It is just a viral marketing promotion of the new EA Sports Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 video game. Besides, Jesus would probably take the two-stroke penalty for touching a water hazard with his club before striking the ball (Rule 13-4).
