Okay, so maybe you didn’t get as much of a tax return check as you were hoping to this year. Or perhaps you did, and you’ve got a little extra cash you’re ready to burn. Either way, in honor of tax day today, we’ve scouted out five bargain gems that you can play on the weekend for less than $50.

San Marcos Golf Resort in Chandler, Ariz.

1. San Marcos Golf Club – $45 on Golfnow.com – Chandler, Arizona

The first golf course in Arizona to have grass greens (1913), the Sheraton San Marcos is a legend in the Arizona golf community. Presidents, visiting dignitaries and celebrities have all traveled out to this traditional golf course in the East Valley. Its lush fairways and straight forward layout remind many of the Midwestern golf courses. But, be wary. Sand traps and a creek that travels throughout the course play a vital role in keeping this golf course fairly difficult.

One word to describe the Old Brickyard: Unique.

This course is the perfect attesting your game and working on your accuracy as attempts to overpower itmost likely lead to higher scores.

Okeeheelee Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Fla.

3. Okeeheelee Golf Course – $34 on Golfnow.com – West Palm Beach, Florida

An often overlooked golf course in the Orange County area, River View is consistently rated one of the best golfing bargains around by the Orange County Golf Guide. Golf reviews on Golfnow.com indicate that this course will provide a stern test for all levels of golfers. Located 10 minutes from Disneyland and conveniently near John Wayne International Airport, this course is known for its impeccable year-round conditions and its stellar greens. The course has a rich history, including memorable win from a young Tiger Woods.

 

Mill Valley Golf Links in Belchertown, MA

5. Mill Valley Golf Links – $25 on Golfnow.com – Belchertown, Massachusetts

The newest 18-hole layout in Western Massachusetts, Mill Valley boasts one of the most scenic par 3s in the state. This course sits about an hour and a half from Boston and is not only fun to play, but truly worth the money you will pay to play it. The stellar stretch of holes between the 14th and the 17th will make a believer out of you for sure.
