Hi, everyone and happy Wednesday!

On yesterday’s show, we asked you to choose the golfer who had never appeared in a movie about golf and 60% of the entries we received chose the correct answer. So, we’ll talk about those movies today on the show and you can see if your answer was correct.

Since yesterday was Tuesday and there was a new episode of Highway 18 on, our prize on yesterday’s show was a Golf Channel prize package and, because it was also Big Prize Tuesday, that prize package includes a personalized Golf Channel golf bag by Sun Mountain. Roger Erickson of Gilbert, Arizona was our winner and he got in touch with us right away so we’ll be getting his prize package and golf bag out to him right away.

Speaking of Highway 18, The Golf Channel is running a marathon of past episodes tomorrow night beginning at 6pm Eastern Time, just in case you’ve missed any of them so far. We’ve reached the halfway point on the series and now that four out of the five teams all have one strike, the competition is really heating up and anyone could be sent home at any time. So, if you need to get caught up on all the action, then be sure to tune in tomorrow night for the Highway 18 marathon, only on The Golf Channel.

Okay, on yesterday’s show we asked about the very first player to appear at the top of the very first World Golf Ranking list. 65% of the answers we received chose the correct answer - and there did seem to be just a little confusion, although we really thought it was a pretty straightforward question. So, on today’s show, we’ll tell you who that first #1 golfer was and you can find out if you earned another entry into our daily drawings.

Also, on the new episode of Highway 18 tonight, the teams start their day at GOLF CHANNEL’s network studios in Orlando to “audition” their best on-camera news stories from the Golf Central desk for on-air personality Tom Abbott. Then, the teams will race to the Nick Faldo Institute for a chipping challenge, where they will be required to hole-out before they heading to the Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Resort in Tampa for a dramatic Clubhouse Challenge. So, be sure to tune in tonight at 10pm Eastern Time for the new episode of Highway 18, only on The Golf Channel.

On last Friday’s show, we asked you to choose the tournament in the FedEx Cup playoffs that used to be considered one of golf’s major tournaments. We had an interesting split in the answers with 47% choosing C - the BMW Championship - and then 36% chose D - THE TOUR Championship. So, be sure to watch today’s show to find out what the correct answer is and to see if you earned another entry into our daily drawings.

Our prize on Friday’s drawing was a NIKE IC Putter and our winner was Joseph Tiong of Flint, Michigan. Joseph saw his name announced first thing that morning and got in touch with us so we’ll be getting his NIKE putter out to him right away.

Well, if it’s Tuesday then it must be Highway 18 night and, on tonight’s show, the tension between the teams is heating up as they turn the world’s most famous beach into the ultimate bunker challenge and have a full-court putting contest at the Orlando Magic practice facility. So, be sure to check out all the action tonight at 10pm Eastern Time only on The Golf Channel.

Now, yesterday’s trivia question was about the U.S. Amateur Championship and we asked you to choose one golfer from our list that had not won that historic tournament. 79% of the entries we received chose the correct answer and, so, those people now have one more entry into our computer for our daily drawings.

Our prize on yesterday’s show was a copy of the beautiful, limited edition book, Fairways of the World along with a copy of the 16-month 2009 calender based on the book and our winner, Brian Stegner of Petaluma, California, sent me an e-mail to claim his prize and, so, we’ll be getting that out to him right away.
