Have your applause teed up for Dustin Johnson’s new playing partner – Troy S. from Billings, MT! Troy is an avid golfer, trying his best to squeeze in a couple of rounds each week, and his dad is the one who got him started in golf.

 
“I first started playing golf because of my dad, who taught me the game in 1977,” Troy told us over the phone. “So I’m really excited for the opportunity to bring dad as my guest and share this incredible trip with him.”

 
He and his dad will be heading to sunny Florida to join Dustin Johnson for a round of golf, a luxurious stay at the beautiful Streamsong resort and maybe even a few pointers from one of the very best pros on tour.

 
The most exciting part of the trip for him? “Everything!” he says. “Spending this trip with my dad, meeting one of the very best golfers in the world – every part of this is really a dream trip for both of us.”

In addition to Troy, it is time to congratulate Dustin Johnson’s other playing partner – John from Edinburgh! John took up golf as a teenager and, as a retiree, enjoys getting together with friends and family at his home club.

 

“I played quite a bit when I was younger, but got away from the game for a while as my wife and I brought up the family,” John told us over the phone last week. “Since retiring I have really enjoyed picking up the clubs again and enjoying exercise and friendships on the course.”
