Playing With a Wingman

Many players like to enjoy the game by themselves. Others prefer their weekly game in a cart with three of their closest friends.

Still, yet others prefer to walk with the help of a caddie.

Although not as prevalent at public or daily fee courses as they are at private courses, caddie programs remain an important piece of the game and, if you’ve ever enjoyed a round with a caddie, you know why.

If you’re interested in playing with a wingman, here are a handful of courses with tee times available on GolfNow that offer caddie services. Enjoy your walk.

TPC Scotssdale (Scottsdale, Ariz.) – Play either the Championship or Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale and enhance the experience with a caddie. But don’t get caught napping on the 16th at the Stadium Course. Your caddie might want to race…

Cantigny Golf (Wheaton, Ill.) – While you might have to wait a bit to get a tee time while the ground thaws out, Cantigny Golf and its slew of courses offers caddie services, with more than 140 caddies servicing the clubs. Play the Woodside, Hillside or Lakeside Course and be sure to see the par-27, 9-hole Youth Links course!

Wynn Golf Club (Las Vegas, Nev.) – Heading to Las Vegas? Gamble on a caddie’s knowledge at the Wynn and Fazio-built Wynn Golf Club, which is the only course attached to a resort on the ever-popular Vegas strip.

Bali Hai Golf Club (Las Vegas, Nev.) – If you’re looking for some ‘companionship’ while on the course, try Bali Hai, where you can book a caddie from the course’s ParMates program. The program, officially offered from Royal Links, provides female caddies for visiting golfers.

Troon North Golf Club (Scottsdale, Ariz.) – The Troon North Golf Club is one of the most impressive desert golf experiences in Scottsdale. Head out with a caddie to make even more out of that experience and enjoy the walk.

Nemacolin Woodlands Resort (Farmington, Pa.) – If you’re taking a trip to Philadelphia or Pittsburgh and have a day to kill, head out for 36 at the scenic Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa. Play your round with a caddie and the trek on the Links Course and the Mystic Rock Course won’t be so tiring.

  1. That is a great list of golf courses. I LOVE Troon North Golf Club. I hadn’t played the Monument Course until this year, and have since played it twice. Some of the best views in the Valley. Good stuff, guys. Thanks for sharing!
