This Week in Golf
It was an interesting week in the wonderful world of professional golf – one underlined with a full body exposure of one of the game’s greatest players, a season-ending injury and an unbelievable office putt challenge. If you weren’t tuned in, here’s what you missed…
1. Two Sexy Golfers Bare All for ESPN – European LPGA player Carly Booth and 77-year-old legend Gary Player showed all for the 2013 edition of ESPN’s Body Issue.
2. Creamer’s Putt of Destiny – Paula Creamer did a media tour Monday in New York and stopped by the Golf.com office. They challenged her with a 70-foot office putt and she accepted the challenge.
3. Windy Knoll Golf Club in Ohio Purchases Hovering Golf Carts – The Windy Knoll Golf Club in Springfield, Ohio, will soon be the home to two hovercraft carts of the same model that was made famous by Bubba Watson earlier this year.
4. You Can Buy Greg Norman’s House… For $25M – Who wouldn’t want to own Greg Norman’s 7.5-acre property and yet-to-be-built, 31,700-square-foot palace that he reportedly listed in South Florida this week. The price tag: a cool $25 million.
5. John Daly Out for the Season With Elbow Injury – John Daly withdrew from the British Open on Monday because he will have surgery on his right elbow this week that will end his PGA Tour season.
