The average temperature from December thru February ranges from 66-71 degrees, perfect for forgetting about winter and squeezing in another couple of birdies before calling it a season.
Phoenix also offers a variety of things to do off the course that will make your golf getaway feel like a real vacation. Go for a hot air balloon ride to see the gorgeous landscape from a breathtaking view, or head up to Camelback Mountain for a hike.

The award-winning Lookout Mountain Golf Club’s course is nestled in the North Phoenix Mountains and offers beautiful views of the Arizona landscape. Golf Digest has tapped the course with a Four Star Award for nine consecutive years and the track also received a Zagat rating as one of America’s Top Courses from 2005 through 2009.

Designed by architect Gary Panks, the 6,908-yard, par 71 Legacy Golf Course was the site of the 2000 LPGA Standard Register PING tournament. The Legacy Golf offers a challenge to players of all skill levels with well-placed hazards and manicured greens . Beautifully landscaped with native flowers, shrubs and trees, Legacy provides spectacular views of Camelback Mountain, Squaw Peak and the downtown Phoenix skyline.
Located in north central Scottsdale, Starfire Golf Club gives players great views of the McDowell Mountains. The course features 27 holes, including The “King” Nine, which was designed by Arnold Palmer and opened in 1988. Palmer also redesigned the Squire and Hawk 9-hole courses, making them more challenging with bunkers and water hazards coming into play on 13 holes.
