Tomorrow is Pi Day.

A day when we commemorate mathematics overall, including the great mathematical constant (and our favorite dessert!). What is Pi, you ask? Why, it’s the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter — which is approximately 3.14159. Don’t worry, there won’t be a test (we have trouble just calculating our scorecard correctly).

 

But, you should know – this is not just any other Pi Day. This is the first time in 100 YEARS that the date, 3/14/15, matches the first five digits of the number Pi! Pretty neat.

So, to celebrate this special Pi Day, we’re holding a special giveaway for our golfers! Beginning tomorrow (weeee hours tomorrow), Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 12:01 am PST, we’ll be giving away GolfNow-branded golf prize packs – including Srixon golf balls, zero-friction tees and a ball marker – to the first 314 golfers who book their tee time on GolfNow.com or with the GolfNow mobile app.

So, set your alarms for 12:01 am PST, warm up the oven, pop in a delicious pie, maybe do a Sudoku math puzzle and get ready to rise and shine to get your tee time, because in this this case the early golfers get the GolfNow goodies.
