Arnold Palmer Invitational Ticket Giveaway Official Rules


By participating in this sweepstakes (the “Giveaway”) you agree to be bound by these Official Rules.

The sponsor and operator of the Giveaway is Golf Channel and GolfNow, LLC (“Sponsor”).  The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States including the District of Columbia) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.  Employees of Golf Channel, GolfNow, LLC, and the Arnold Palmer Invitational (“Prize Provider”) and their respective parent and affiliate companies, suppliers as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible.  The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial, municipal, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.  Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Giveaway. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

Timing: March 10, 2014 from 12:00a.m. to 11:59p.m.

How to enter:  During the promotional period, visit /?p=6212 and post a reply to the blog posting consisting of at least one (1) character.  Each reply must be linked to a valid email address.  You will receive one (1) entry into the Giveaway, limit one entry per person.

No more than one entry per person via each of the methods listed in the Giveaway details or in these Rules.  Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address.  Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than the stated number of plays/entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that entrant’s plays/entries and that entrant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.  Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected registrations, which will be disqualified.  In the event of a dispute as to any registration or play, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the entrant or player.  The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.  Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. If prompted to provide personal data of a friend, including email address, you must have consent of your friend to do so.

Prize:  Two (2) prizes (“Prize(s)”) –

Drawing and Notification of Winners:  The odds of winning a Prize depends on the number of entries.  Two drawings will be conducted and winners from each drawing will be selected randomly by Sponsor using as a selection tool. Non-winning entries from the first drawing will be retained and entered into the subsequent second drawing.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, non-winning entries will not be retained or entered into future sweepstakes or giveaways conducted by Sponsor or Prize Provider.  Limit One (1) prize per person.  Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules.  All entries received after the Giveaway closing date and time will not be considered. Entries that do not follow all of the entry requirements will not be considered. Winners will be notified via email and will have 24 hours to confirm receipt of the e-mail. If the winner does not reply within 24 hours, another winner will be selected. Prizes can either be mailed to winners or left at will call at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.  The approximate retail value of each prize is $250.00.   Taxes on Prizes are solely the responsibility of the winner.

All potential WINNERS are subject to verification by Sponsor, whose decisions are final AND BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE GIVEAWAY.  An entrant is not a winner of any prize unless and until entrant’s eligibility HAS been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete.  Sponsor will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process.

Except where prohibited, Winner agrees that by accepting the Prize, winner consents to Sponsor’s and the Prize Provider’s use of her or his name, voice, photo, or likeness for promotional and marketing purposes after the end of the Giveaway.  Sponsor and the Prize Provider are not liable for late or misdirected entries, entry errors, or transmission problems.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Giveaway, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or human error impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway or to correct typographical or technical errors, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize(s_ at random from among the eligible entries or plays received up to the time of the impairment.  Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.  Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

All participants should review the Sponsor disclosure and privacy policies located at  By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Prize Provider, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with a Giveaway.  Unless otherwise stated by Sponsor, no substitution, transfer, or assignment of prizes is permitted.  Non-winning entries from one Giveaway are not carried forward to future Giveaways.

Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida (Orlando Division) or the appropriate Florida State Court located in Orange County, Florida; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.  All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Florida, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Florida or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Florida.
