Home of the 2016 World Series champions, Chicago has definitely made its name as a sports mecca and prime travel destination. But, that’s not all that the Windy City has going for it.

 

Chicago also has some pretty legendary courses, too, making it a great spot for a little golf getaway this summer.

If you’re on the hunt for a challenge in Chi-town, look no further than Stonewall Orchard Golf Club, which features more than 65,000 trees on the course. Its natural rolling hills and wetlands make this course just as scenic as it is difficult, too.

 

 

OAK GROVE GOLF COURSE | HARVARD

 

A hidden gem located just outside of Chicago, Oak Grove Golf Course provides a serene environment for a relaxing round. You might even see some wildlife throughout the course, as it is an Audubon-Certified Signature Sanctuary.

 

RAVISLOE GOLF CLUB | HOMEWOOD

 

 

Established in 1901, Ravisloe Golf Club has a rich history combined with modern updates that make for a truly unforgettable round. Unsurprisingly, this course is often recognized as one of the best in the area.

 

 

ARROWHEAD GOLF CLUB | WHEATON

 

 

 

Arrowhead Golf Club is yet another historic track in the area, opening for play in 1927. This course has continuously offered golfers an extraordinary experience with its pristine conditions set against the backdrop of a forest preserve.
