Give Mom The Gift of Golf

If you want to know how important mothers are to golfers, ask Tiger Woods.

While it was Earl Woods who encouraged his son to be the best golfer in the world from a very young age, it is Kultida Woods who has stood firmly beside him amid injury and redemption the past few years.

With Mother’s Day in just a few days, we are all scrambling to find that great gift that shows Mom how much we care. Something that illustrates how we appreciate the countless hours she spent taking care of us while we were growing up, teaching us right from wrong and being our biggest cheerleader.

Whether that special lady in your life is an avid golfer or not, why do something different this year and treat her to a day on the links?

Imagine the family all getting up on Sunday morning and instead of the “traditional” outings we are all used to, you jump in the car to play a round of golf to celebrate the special mothers, grandmothers and/or daughters in your life?

Golf could become another wonderful way to bond together with her kids and family.

This Mother’s Day, give mom something different. Ask your local club professional about lessons and the benefits of families learning the game together.

There’s still time to plan something amazing to the woman who has helped define us. Give her the gift that keeps on giving and show her that you care in a totally different way this year.

Ask your local club professional about lessons and the benefits of families learning the game together. And before hitting the course, check out some of these fantastic golf-themed gift ideas from Golf Channel.

And to my mother – and all the great moms out there – Happy Mother’s Day.
